In short, the Biden Administration continues to conceal its responsibility for the destruction of Nord Stream, with the support of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. There’s apparently no limit to Germany’s willingness to publicly humiliate itself in order to please its American master. What we are witnessing is basically the geopolitical equivalent of a BDSM show. (Interestingly, in the sweeping joint statement issued by Putin and Xi yesterday, they call for an “objective” investigation of the Nord Stream pipeline attack under the rubric of “counter-terrorism”).
