What lies ahead, at best, is a long, simmering conflict spanning the entire region, in which Tel Aviv and Washington will continue to seek to weaken Iran’s regional allies and further isolate Tehran
Great articles part 1 and 2. Where this waring goes is in the air. Looks like instead of a multipolar world the world will be aligned al9 g two axles of power. The USA and its allies and the China/ Russia/BRICS allies. Too bad the two couldn't just make mutual trade deals and live in peace instead of waring.
There is no "both sides". The west is hell bent on attacking any country that could be strong enough to defend itself and thereby strong enough to determine its own economic policy. That is what their "full spectrum dominance" doctrine is all about. That is what the "tarrifs" and "free trade" agreeents are all about. Modern colonialism.
When, in God's name, is America going to really run out of $. We keep hearing about overextending and collapse but looks like their still on a massive military spending spree and raking in great profits from all their shares in Lockheed and Raytheon etc
Yes, because they keep squeezing their own people like an orange. Look at the data, stagnation in real incomes vs the growth in wealth of the rich. It has translated into epic rises in inequality.
Go look at the country. They have decaying roads, rusting bridges, post offices falling apart, public services totally degrated, many public schools (at least the ones where ordinary people live) are decaying. Healthcare is a luxury good. The country is basically a war force and some slaves working for it.
What puzzled me that after the war Iran chose for a crackdown on the opposition. I would have expected it to use the national unity to embrace the opposition and find a way to live with them.

Yes, I've seen the footage etc. Same here in GB. I watched "Seattle is Dying" on YouTube about 4 years

How do we really know what Israel's objectives were? We can only guess at these things, what lies behind these evil minds is forever a mystery.
Especially as Iran is the hardest link in the belt & road initiative...
