The West's leaders are determined on war with Russia, perhaps because they know they can't possibly solve the problems crushing the West, and like Macron, are reduced to doing something "bold", however disastrous.
I m older than you. I grew up during cold war. Serving in military quite close to Russia. You have not been living in a country neighbouring the Russian nazi regime. You have no clue on what you are talking about. I have Ukrainian wife, she is from a city today occupied by Russian nazi army.
Russophobia? What is that? Criticizing Adolf Putin and his nazi regime is russophobia? They are trying to kill my family, they occupy the city where I have family. They have not asked to be part of nazi Ruzzia. They were not allowed to vote as they rejected to take Ruzzian passport.
I am shocked and disappointed - but, sadly, not really surprised by this document. Why? Because it totally ignores the Donbas and the people as usual.
It speaks of two things: Russia 'winning territory', 'Ukraine' losing territory.
Those are 'regime' matters. They concern themselves not with people but with regimes.
A very clear fact in the case of 'Ukraine' where the label applies clearly NOT to the 10 million Donbas Ukrainians. Hence it cannot be said to be applying to the people of Ukraine at all.
Else there should be some lament for their travail embroiled in a wicked civil war.
No. None of that. For it concerns itself only with 'regimes'. As does everything, everyone, else.
But they're all wrong.
It is not 'finish now or lose more territory' it is 'finish now and let the people of Ukraine live in peace'.
It is 'finish now and let Donbas Oblasts choose their own destiny'.
Note: the people of 'Ukraine' ( the whole of Ukraine's people ) have lost nothing. Nothing. Donbas, note, despite American propaganda etc. is NOT 'conquered' or subject to overlords. The people of Donbas still own what they owned before the Russians came to help them. Still have their own governments in fact, via which they have chosen to Federate with Russia.
They have 'won' something: in the main freedom from Kiev persecution and now alliance with Russia which was denied them for eight years.
Let the war stop and Kiev Ukrainians 'win' also. Their status as independent nation as Fazi says but also respite from the daily toll of deaths and the continuing destruction of their country.
In other words it should be 'stop now and let Ukrainians be victorious'.
But you have to start thinking in terms of people to see it that way.
And people don't signify these days. Had you noticed?
Nice try, but it's doubtful Ukraine could be left "independent" after the war: it will be either a NATO protectorate or a Russian one... or both. Additionally, the Finland example doesn't fit... for many reasons, but if it wasn't for the start of Barbarossa operation, and the consequent exhaustion of Soviet forces at the end of the war, Finland probably wouldn't be, and given its treacherous behavior and NATO alignment today, it would be much better from a Russian perspective. So a Finlandized (i.e. neutral) Ukraine would need another Barbarossa operation and nobody in Europe wish for it, I hope
Well done - this needed to be said.

That title really encapsulates just how deranged the pro-war camp is. Thanks for posting that.
Ruzzian state media on Trump.
Russian state TV putting out different theories:
1. Biden ordered it, his administration is the sole beneficiary 🤡
2. Antifa did it. But that is not in conflict with number 1, because Antifa is the armed wing of the Democratic party 🤡🤡
3. Budanov ordered it. How that relates to numbers 1 and 2 remains unclear, though 🤡🤡🤡
Why did not Stalin and Soviet lie down arms in 1939? They could have saved millions of Soviet lives by giving up to the nazis?
They would be living under nazi occupation and all these things. But the point is that Ukrainians say Ruzzians are no better than German nazis.
In Russian occupied Ukraine the Ruzzian army rape, torture, execute civilians. They put people in concentration camps.
I want to hope you're not older than 12.

All mental derangements — including extreme Russophobia — tend to have some grounding in one's personal experience.

Perhaps they should.
Perhaps they could/would if they went this way:
