I live in France.............we are vassals to the declining US Empire. GOOD. I am a white person who has lived in Colonialist times. Go away Western empires all you do is bomb and undermine!

"...Eurostat data show that in 2022, European investments in China totalled €247 billion, while Chinese investments in Europe were just €54 billion — a €192 billion gap. Moreover, Chinese FDI in Europe has fallen sharply, down 77% since 2016, ..."

I'm willing to bet that most of even that EUR 54 million was in locations like Hungary and Slovakia that do not totally subscribe to US vassalhood and are seeking to make the EU an independent bloc. But the rest of Europe, China is probably no longer investing in at all. While fools like Von der Leyen and Kallas are babbling, China is the one actual de-risking from them!

The EU acts as a US vassal, as do so many of the European national elites. They are doing the US bidding in its failing attempt to hold back the development of China, not the bidding of European nation’s national interests. All the while more greatly financializing their own economies, trying to cut social spending and raise corrupt subsidies (war spending!) to boost European oligarch profits as their corporations increasingly fail abroad. Accelerating decline is on the cards.

The long and painful death of EU, goes hand in hand with the long and painful death of NATO and the American Empire.
