The definitive document. Even the postliterate can’t turn away and must. understand. It seems unanswerable. But of course it will be answered with cries of “Propaganda!” and a ferocious campaign of banning.
Iran and the Islamists do not want a 2-state solution. They want the destruction of Israel, arguably they want the destruction of the Jews (it's in the hadith). Also arguably, if they take Israel, their next target is our own civilisation in Europe. The West cannot allow any of this to happen.
Nastier than Hamas? Surely you can't be taking sides with them?
Note that none of the adjacent Arab states are willing to take Palestinian refugees. Why might that be?
Palestinians militants have attempted or succeeded in undermining the governments of both Jordan and Lebanon over the lastfew decades, that's why.
Yes, the Israelis are behaving terribly, but how would you expect them to behave after last years massacre, by insane genocidalists, within your small country?
Israel isn't going to go away.
Why did Hamas make no attempt to negotiate re.the hostages?
But lets take an analogy - the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. Which side would you be on there?
Or the French resistance - who undoubtedly caused a lot of mayhem by murdering suspected collaborators?
War is a messy business, and I'm against it. But in this case, whilst I deplore the terrorists, I sympathise with the victims of this act of Genocide by the State of Israel just as much as the victims of the Palestinian terrorists.
And note the grossly disproportionate numbers of victims - which seems to me like an act of state terror.
If the Palestinians leave they will never get their land back. Netanyahu would love to evict them into neighbouring countries but the Arabs know this will be the end for them, so they must and will resist, no matter the stakes. Please also remember that Israel promoted, funded and encouraged Hamas to undermine the PLO.

This is amazing. Would love to talk to you about this and the West.

Helpful. I've C&P'd a couple of quotes into the Spectator comments box, just to wind them up - they are a nasty bunch there.

There are no good guys in this conflict.
Who says there are?

Until we recognize that the two-state, this situation will be resolved with violence, not diplomacy.
