The old left has evolved into the present new right.

In nature your either evolve to the present conditions or try to survive with out evolving. Most evolutionary changes don"t work out and that change ends up a dead end *literally*. But every now and than that new "trait" works out in that species favor and they out compete the status quo species that didn't change and they go the way of the do do bird. The USA foreigh policy is a extent do do bird...but not for long dear citizens

Really very clear explanation, makes current geopolitical events much better to understand.

Maybe a sentence or two on China would be welcomed...

Why does Fazi hardly mention Israel and Palestine ?

Not only do I think I'm crazy, so do all my friends and family, who have begged me to "get help" because I am definitely bonkers. I've lost tons of friends, but met new ones, far smarter and better, online.

One huge factor in the rise of awareness of "hegemony" is the internet. Alternate media is my new life. Thanks for being there. People are beginning to wake up.

Something only hinted at when Fazi mentions oil ins that all these decisions became more inevitable as politicians in the U.S. became captive to transnational corporations. A number of decisions such as Citizens United, allowing corporations to be people, and the end to any sort of antitrust regulation, enabled consequences such as the free trade agreements, that demonstrated that it isn't "government" that is running the U.S. but too-big-to-fail corporations and banks. We live in a fascist nation. I haven't voted in years.
