such bad news, but needs to be repeated and if any country was worth its weigh in salt they would not wait for the less than useless UN and just protect the innocent. Like Yemen is doing

The IDF is certainly committing appalling crimes in Gaza, but then again Hamas is using the hospitals as cover, making these atrocities almostinevitable. They also initiated this war with an act of genocide on October 7th, and remain genocidal in intent.

And what about all the other war crimes and atrocities going on in the region and elsewhere? By the Turks in Kurdistan,or between Islamic factions, or in Sudan.

You're right to condemn Israel, but are behaving in a stereotypical Leftist manner by obsessively criticising Israel and ignoring all other perpetrators of war crimes in the Middle East. That makes it easier for Israel to simply slander you as being antisemitic.

Extraordinary ‘whataboutery’… The genocidal atrocities being committed by Israel cannot be compared or justified by looking for other examples. Israel is a terrorist, apartheid state systematically engaged in starving and killing vast numbers of innocent people. They stole their land and kept them in an open air prison. They regard them as sub-human and October 7th (an attempt to break out and resist that any one in the Palestinians’ position would attempt) has given Israel the excuse they were looking for to torture, starve and murder. International opinion will never forgive. Aside from the U.S. (controlled by the Jewish Lobby) all the sympathy Jews earned after the Holocaust has melted into thin air.

Your book The Covid Consensus is probably my No 1 extended critique of the insanity of 2020/2021, focussed as it was on data and realism, and on the effects of it all, on the poor especially. Many thanks!

It was great to read, as any criticism of the Narrative was being slandered as being Right Wing extremism. Politics is, for me, however, just about trade offs between individualism and collectivism. That's why it's a bit depressing to see your usually helpful Leftist commentary descending into predictable anti Israel myopia.

Sure Israel has more firepower, but there are presently no good guys in the Middle East, and I doubt there will be any time soon.
