You write in your post that “Russia’s invasion of Ukraine may be immoral, but it cannot be considered irrational or unprovoked” - immoral? On what ground would this be judged? And killing of Russian Ukrainians since 2014 would be then what? A hunting season? I am sorry! These caveats are becoming immoral themselves.

The point is that states' actions are immoral by definition based on commonly accepted standards of morality, which is why we shouldn't use moral categories to define those actions.

Thank you! Yes, this is why I commented on the first sentence because “we shouldn't use moral categories to define those actions”. But MSM do. The whole Western narrative of ‘us against them’ is predicated on the moralising posturing. Does your article address this conundrum?
