Thank you, Thomas. I like the end: ““embedding” the economy in society, in subordinating it to its citizens’ material needs, beliefs, values, customs and traditions”, which does not only apply to Argentina only. At this point, it seem like a dream.

I was not sure who you (Fazi) were when I saw your post here. I must have subscribed to T. Fazi at some point. Well, my contribution to the discussion I see here is to say that, curiously, I personally was unfazed by lockdowns and did not notice any change in my life, because I was living on the streets, home-less at that time. (Since then some money has showed up in my family to sustain me for about another year.) I suffered no lockdown; I was living in the street. I hardly even noticed. Everything seemed pretty much the same to me. There was some kind of idea that one could not be on the street at night, so I just stayed put in my sleeping spot sometimes. If not I may have walked around some, but I never met any resistance to anything I did. So there may have some a big "lockdown," but I missed the experience. When restrictions were lifted, what I noticed was everyone seemed to be staying inside anyways, as if they kind of liked the escape from trying to be social. That is a rather distinct experience compared to the one you, Thomas Fazi have described. Could lockdown have been different for different persons, even different poor ones?
