This is one of the most important Covid books out there. In case you want to highlight another positive review, I wrote one on my substack and at Brownstone.org:
An excellent summary of this important book. I can’t talk or think about lockdown and all its contingent evils without getting angry. More worrying in the long term is the pattern of increasing authoritarianism, the curbing of free speech, the absence of unbiased debate. Also the massive influence of corporate power and government’s efforts to control how we live and what we think. Truly dystopian and I am grateful to all those who fight this trend by whatever means. Thank you Thomas!
One thing seems to be missing from this otherwise excellent analysis. Why all this happened. We need more in-depth analysis not just of the granular pictures of the event that occurred on the ground and the resulting damage the lockdown policies had caused but also a more global, materialist overview this authoritarian Chinese model was followed so eagerly by the entire world. Fear and incompetence of the ruling bureaucracy seem to be one of the causes, the power of the WHO and the western governments to enforce their will around the globe is another but, clearly, not enough of an explanation. If the covid events are not analyzed properly, the conspiracy theories will prevail.

That was a great review, Debbie. Thanks again. I shared it on social media at the time but will re-share it as well :)
I'm so grateful for your work, not just on Covid but on all the insanity in the world right now. You help keep me sane.
