It almost seems like a false flag to demonize people who support German law and culture. As a former resident of Germany I can tell you that the AfD is being slandered by the same MSM that peddles covid lies

The narrative doesn't make any sense to me. If he had a "strong anti-Islam stance and [supported] AfD’s policies, particularly concerning immigration and cultural assimilation" why did he attack a Christmas market, why not Friday prayers?

It seems convenient an "AfD supporter" just committed mass murder. Cui bono?

From Maral Slamassi on X:

"Despite claims made by the German press, Taleb Al Abdulmohsen is not an ex-Muslim atheist, nor is he a fan of the AfD or Elon Musk. While he may have spread this misinformation himself, it aligns with the practice of Taqqiye, an Islamic doctrine that permits lying and deception to advance Islamic objectives.

In reality, he is a radical Shia Muslim, as evidenced by his name and numerous tweets and chat leaks circulating on Arabic-speaking platforms like X. Disturbingly, his plans to carry out mass killings of Germans were brought to the attention of German authorities by a Saudi woman. Tragically, the police ignored her warnings.

The links are added in the thread."

Presumably the MSM will hide behind the fig leaf of the killer's reported social media stream (immigrant from Saudi Arabia supports racist 'Nazi' Party (yeah right!), who chooses to kill 'fellow' Germans at an Xmas Market, rather than attack an Islamic target).

I've also been introduced to the Islamic concept of Taqiyyah today as well, it's right there on mainstream Wikipedia- or at least it was this morning). Sure there's probably some mental instability/political derangement in the mix as well.

'In the FAZ interview he (Al Abdulmohsen) even called himself “the most aggressive critic of Islam in history.”

Taqiyyah, according to Ithna-`Ashri Rafidis, means presenting outwardly something that is different from what one believes inwardly, as an act of religious devotion. Lying to promote a devious, underlying purpose IOW

The problem is not people who are Muslims, or who come from Arabia, or who support the AfD. Most Muslims, and people from Arabia, and people who support the AfD or oppose immigration are peaceful and law-abiding.

The problem is that some people are unbalanced and do crazy things. And there is nothing that governments can do to make sure that never happens. Anything that the German government is likely to do in response to a "terror attack" will make little difference.

I am wondering how Elon will manage being president of two countries in addition to his several day jobs.

Random nutter. Has no obvious political significance at all, and will be quickly forgotten - except by the hundreds of innocent victims - dead and wounded.

“However, in a surprising twist of events, it has emerged that the suspect, Taleb Al Abdulmohsen, is, in fact, an anti-Islam ex-Muslim — and AfD supporter himself. Al Abdulmohsen has been living in Germany since 2006 and was granted refugee status in 2016. His social media activity indicates a strong anti-Islam stance and support for AfD’s policies, particularly concerning immigration and cultural assimilation. He was vocal about his belief that Germany should protect its borders against illegal migration, particularly from regions associated with Islamic fundamentalism. His public statements suggest that he views uncontrolled immigration as a threat to German society, advocating for stringent border controls and expressing disdain for what he perceived as the country’s leniency towards Muslim immigrants. He is also a fervent Israel supporter.”

Taqiyya. Lying to hide the ugly truth about Islam. He's not an atheist or an AfD supporter. If he were he would never have attacked a Christmas market
